Christian Seely
Managing Director Château Pichon-Longueville
Château Pichon-Longueville, Second Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the historic references among the great Bordeaux wines.
Since 2001 and the arrival of Christian Seely at the head of the estate, the selection policy applied in the vineyard and in the winery has been stepped up considerably, concentrating on the historic terroir of Pichon Longueville Baron (only 40 hectares used for the First Wine), the quintessence of the vineyard.
This wine is the fruit of careful attention to the slightest detail, combining power and finesse with outstanding elegance and length, while retaining that tannic structure that characterises the great Pauillac wines.
